A school site the academy updates daily, without calling us

A content-managed website for Abuja Montessori adolescent academy Archersfield, covering admissions enquiries, events, student showcase, news and appointment booking.

The brief

Archersfield Montessori Academy runs Nigeria's premier Montessori adolescent programme in Gwarimpa, Abuja, for students aged 11 to 18. Their intake decision is a considered one: parents are choosing an unusual model over a conventional secondary school, and they arrive with a long list of questions about curriculum, assessments, fees, drop-off times and how the Montessori method works at adolescent age.

Answering that by phone does not scale, and a brochure site built once and never touched cannot keep up with a school that runs events, publishes results and adds programmes through the year. The academy needed to be able to publish, themselves, the day something happens.

We built a custom-managed site where every section is editable by the school: news, events, gallery, team, programmes, student showcase and the FAQ that answers most admissions questions before a parent picks up the phone.

What we built

A site the school runs itself

News posts, events, staff profiles, programme pages, photo galleries and FAQ entries are all added and edited by the academy through an admin area. No developer involvement to publish a term update or announce an event.

An FAQ that does the admissions triage

Fees, ages admitted, drop-off and pick-up times, curriculum, WAEC and IGCSE registration, assessment format and duration per subject. Parents get precise answers at the point of interest, and the admissions office fields fewer repeat calls.

Student showcase with category filtering

Project work is published in a filterable gallery across academic learning, leadership development and community events. It gives prospective parents evidence of what students actually produce rather than claims about what the school teaches.

Appointment booking and enquiry capture

Parents book a visit or assessment directly from the site, and enquiries arrive with the context the admissions team needs. Click-to-chat on WhatsApp catches anyone who would rather message than fill in a form.

News section built for search

Each article carries its own title and description targeting what Abuja parents actually search for, such as WAEC and IGCSE preparation or Montessori secondary education. The blog brings in families who were not looking for the school by name.

Programme pages with their own URLs

Each strand of the curriculum has a dedicated, shareable page, so the school can point a parent at exactly the programme they asked about instead of a section of the homepage.

How we worked

Delivered against a fixed scope, with the academy trained on the admin area at handover. They have published news, events and showcase entries independently since launch.
