The brief
A Nigerian indigenous energy group operating across crude oil trading, petroleum products distribution, terminals, exploration and production, gas development and power generation needed a corporate site that could carry all six divisions without a visitor losing their way.
Their audience is not the general public. It is multinational oil companies, government bodies, industry peers and prospective staff, all of whom arrive wanting to verify that the company is substantial, established and credible before any conversation starts.
The work was delivered white-label through a partner agency, so the brief also required a build the partner could hand over and support without us in the room.
What we built
A page per operating division
Six distinct business lines each got a dedicated page rather than a paragraph on a shared services page, so a visitor interested in terminals is not made to read about power generation first.
A corporate section that establishes standing
History back to incorporation, leadership profiles, partners, and mission. For a company selling to multinationals and government, this section does more selling than the operations pages do.
Careers and CSR as first-class sections
Both carry real weight in the Nigerian energy sector, where local content commitments and community investment are things partners actively check.
Content managed by the client
Built on WordPress so the communications team updates pages, team members and announcements without a developer, and so the partner agency could take over support cleanly.
